Photography
- Webshots photo album - my current photo host. Thirty albums and growing. Topics covered include everyday life in Florida, lots of photos of our cats, my papercrafts and scrapbooking, and our travels in the US.
- Kajikit's Photoblog - not updated since March 2004 (superceded by webshots) but it holds photos from my travels in Australia and North America.
- Dropshots - A video-hosting site where I keep short clips of the cats in action.
- Photobucket - miscellaneous collection of 'stuff'. Where I host images for use in other locations...
Scrapbooking
- Kajikit's Scrapjazz album - mostly scrapbook pages from a trip to the USA, with a scattering of cards and other scrapbook pages I've made.
- Scrapbook Bytes - my brief fling with digital scrapbooking. I wasn't very good at it and got frustrated easily, but I made four pages worth of layouts for my gallery...
Websites I made
- Karen/Karenjis/Kaje's World - my very first website, last modified in October 1999. If you want to know where I came from, go here for a glimpse into the distant past.
- 91101: A World Trade Centre Memorial Site - I made this site in September 2001...
- Kajikit's Corner at Netfirms.com - my original version of this site, hosted on the netfirms free webhosting service. When I moved my site over I left the web graphics behind because they were too much work to redo.
- Mainstreetcc.org - not my site per se, but the site for our small Oakland Park church, which is maintained by my husband and myself.
Writing/chatting
I'm not going to make a complete list here because it is subject to change without notice. But I am a regular reader/contributor to the following newsgroups and bulletinboards:
- Visa Journey - A bulletinboard and informative website for marriage-based immigration to the USA, and a GREAT source of information for anyone contemplating the move.
Making a Difference
- Distributed Proofreaders - a community project for everyone who likes reading and cares about old books. Public domain books are scanned, OCRed, proof-read, reformatted, and eventually uploaded to Project Gutenberg where anyone can download them for free. Some of the books that come through are extremely interesting. My favourites are travelogues, children's fiction, and science-fiction.
